Uniform Preparation

Full Uniform PreparationPlease take note of the following on the uniform.

Males Uniform:
Beret :
- Worn level with forehead
- Brim about 2.5cm directly above left eyebrow
- It must be nicely seasoned
- Folded on the right
- Crest must be directly above the left eye
Shirt :
- Collar of shirt standing up ( Do not use starch )
- Sleeve line ironed from the back of the shoulder lapels
- Buttons are placed in correct directions and positions
- Name tag is pinned on the top of the right pocket
Belt :
- Polished and free of fingerprints
- Belt loops about 2 fingers away from the end of the belt.
Trousers :
- Trousers should be long enough so as not to gather at the boots
- It should be ironed nicely.
Socks :
- Only BLACK LONG SOCKS are allowed.
- Bootlaces must be tucked inside the socks
Boots :
- Polished and clean
- No PVC boots, only boots provided by HQ are allowed.
Hair :
- Hair must not fall across the forehead and touch the eyebrows
- Sideburns must be trimmed and should not extend below the tragus of the ear
- THe hair at the back must be tapered inwards toward the neck
- Hair must not cover the ear
- No dyed hair
Others :
- No accessories
- Nothing should be placed in the pockets
- Singlets are encouraged to be worn
- Spectacle hooks/bands must be worn
- No coloured contact lenses.

Females Uniform:
Beret :
- Worn level with forehead
- Brim about 2.5cm directly above left eyebrow
- It must be nicely seasoned
- Folded on the right
- Crest must be directly above the left eye
Blouse :
- Sleeve line ironed from the back of the shoulder lapels
- Buttons are placed in correct directions and positions
- The collar of the blouse must be flat ( Do not use starch )
- Nametags is pinned at the middle of the right portion of the blouse, in-line with the first button
- Singlets are encouraged to be worn
Belt :
- Polished and free of fingerprints
- Belt loops about 2 fingers away from the end of the belt.
Skirt :
- Skirt should be 6cm or 3 fingers above the back of the knee
- Skirt must not be too tight or too short such that it restricts movement
- Zip of the skirt should be in-line with the seam line of the blouse
Socks :
- Only Black socks are allowed
- Socks should not have gathers
- Socks should not be too loose
- Height of the socks should be the same
Shoes :
- Polish and clean
- No PVC boots, only boots provided by HQ are allowed
- Laces must be tied in horizontal manner and not crossed
Hair :
- Hair must not fall across the forehead and touch the eyebrows
- Hair must not cover the ears
- Hair should not touch the collar
- Long hair should be neatly tucked into the beret
- Pin up fringe and excess hair using black clips
- Hairnets must be worn of all hair lengths at all times.
Other :
- No accessories
- Nothing should be placed in the pockets
- Singlets are encouraged to be worn
- Spectacle hooks/bands must be worn
- No coloured contact lenses.
